Follow your work from iPhone
Connect to your Mac, review live work, answer requests, and keep capturing ideas while away.
The iPhone app gives you two useful paths: capture ideas anywhere and follow work running on your Mac.
Before you start
The current iPhone app is a TestFlight beta for iOS 26 or later. Use the join link on the homepage. Sign in to the same Push account as your Mac, or accept your offered workspace access under your own account.
Your Mac must be awake and reachable for live work. You can capture before a Mac is connected; keep unsynced items on the phone until they reach their destination.
Connect and find your work
Choose the discovered Mac or workspace in the phone's settings. Finish any approval shown on the host. Open the intended Push Session to read its thread and results.
Use the Terminal view to select a conversation and watch its output. Check its project and workspace before sending text or voice input. Remote control uses the access you were granted; viewing alone does not grant control.
See the result
A response appears in the selected conversation or work thread. Files the agent surfaces stay connected to the work. For a useful request, ask the agent to explain the current result and what needs your decision.
A captured voice note appears on the phone first and reaches the Mac when sync is available. See voice capture for that separate workflow.
Approvals from anywhere
When a supported permission request arrives, read the action and choose Approve, Deny or the offered reply option. Not now leaves it unanswered while the prompt remains valid. A question in a thread can be answered as conversation; it is different from approving a tool action.
Available controls depend on the coding runtime and your access. If an approval is no longer available, inspect the current terminal state.
Notifications
Review notification access and delivery settings. Smart delivery can keep the phone quiet while you use the Mac; quiet hours and Live Activities are separate choices. See notification settings.
If something stops
If the Mac is asleep or offline, live terminals return when it reconnects. Keep capturing ideas and check that they sync before deleting anything. Review the Mac's availability and device connection before reconnecting or revoking access.
Updates or restarts can interrupt work; read their confirmation on the device where you request them. Account actions explain sign-out, disconnect and deletion.
